May Favourites

It's that time again! A favourites blog, for May. :) And I'm just going to get right in to it because I'm heading out to the lake in a bit.

The best movie I saw all month (I watch a lot of movies. Probably almost every night. It's an addiction.) was Tangled. Everything about this movie was adorable, and Rapunzel is my new favourite princess. You're probably thinking that you will never love a cartoon movie, but that's what I thought too until I watched this one.

For music, I've been loving Christina Perri's new album called Lovestrong. It's a little sad, but the music is haunting and beautiful. She's great, I've loved her since last summer when Jar of Hearts came out.

Summer is the perfect time for country music. Nothing beats driving around Bruce County/South Bruce Peninsula with the country beats blaring. Some good ones are;

Country Girl - Luke Bryan
Summer Nights - Rascal Flatts
Smoke a Little Smoke - Eric Church
Anything by my girl Gretchen Wilson
Colder Weather - Zac Brown Band
Dirt Road Anthem - Jason Aldean
She's Country - Jason Aldean
Are You Gonna Kiss me or Not - Thompson Square
Barton Hollow - The Civil Wars

Best dancing song of the month: Neon Black - AWOLNATION

And we can't forget Jack Sparrow- The Lonely Island. Hilarious.

For food, and I'm kind of embarrassed to admit this, but I've eaten a lot of A&W teen burgers. Best burger that any fast food restaurant can produce, hands down. It's so thick, with bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, cheese, ketchup, mustard, and then there's this garlic-y mayonnaise sauce that I can't get enough of. Tryyy it.
My favourite outfit this month has been ripped denim shorts and old Value Village t-shirts. I've spent a lot of time at my computer editing, and this is the comfiest outfit I can think of. So if you haven't yet, go rip yourselves some shorts out of an old pair of jeans, and head on down to your local thrift store for some soft, loose shirts.

This is all I have for now, if I think of anything else, I'll add it in.

Hope you guys had a great month. Congratulations to Kelly & Jacob again on their marriage, and to the awesome grade 12's who looked fantastic at their prom.
