What camera do you use?

I currently use the Nikon D750, with the Nikon D700 and D90 as backup.

What lenses do you have?

All Nikon. 35mm 1.4 (my favourite), 50mm 1.8, and 18-105mm.

How many megapixels is your camera?

The D700 is 12.10 megapixels. My images can be blown up to poster size and still remain in excellent quality. I also shoot in RAW digital format.

What kind of portraits to you shoot?

Weddings, special events, proms, model portfolios, head shots, families, couples, engagements, animals, individuals, bands, etc. I prefer to shoot outdoors in natural light. I don't work out of a studio, and at this time I do not shoot newborn sessions. (However, contact Linda Yolanda for beautiful, indoor studio children's photos.)

What are the prices of your sessions?

-$200 for an individual
-$300 for a couple
-$300 for immediate family & small groups
(under 5 people)
-$400 for extended family & large groups

Wedding coverage begins at $2,000

How long will our photo shoot be?

Usually about an hour to an hour and a half. For prom, time will vary. Wedding coverage depends on what package was purchased.

How many photos will I get?

You will receive a minimum of 100 high resolution, fully edited .jpeg images on a disc. Foto Art in Owen Sound does a wonderful job of printing.

When will my photos be posted on the blog?

I try to have a "sneak peek" blog posted a week after our session. However, during my busy season it can take up to a month.

When will I receive my CD?

It usually takes between 3 and 5 hours to completely edit a portrait session, and 5-15 hours to finish a wedding. I try to have my images ready for delivery two weeks from the session date, but sometimes in my peak season it can take between 3 weeks to 2 months depending on how busy I am.

Will the photos I receive on the disc have a watermark?

Absolutely not. I only watermark and downsize my images for online purposes!

What should I wear to my photo shoot?

I always say, whatever you feel comfortable and confident in! But here are some great links you should check out:

How many weddings have you photographed?

I worked for a year with an amazing Hamilton photographer as her apprentice. Not including the weddings I shot with her, I have photographed 35 beautiful weddings as of December 2013.

Do you bring a second shooter to weddings?

Always! And that is included in the wedding package price. As well as GST/HST.

How long have you been in business?

I started Taylor Rebecca Photography when I was 19 in June of 2010. For more information on this story check out the "About" tab.

Where do you suggest we shoot our photos?

This is a big question I always get. I want the location of the photo shoot to reflect my clients' personalities and provide a beautiful backdrop for their images. Here is a complete guide to my favourite spots in the Bruce, Grey, and South Bruce Peninsula area, including blog links to previous sessions I've shot there. Blog links will open a new window so you can keep reading this post.

Also, the best time to shoot is 1 to 2 hours before the sun sets. That time of day provides, soft, dreamy, golden light that isn't harsh like high noon can be.
